You have a choice of 5 very individual suites each with its own theme. From the elegant ‘Henderson Room’, to the spacious ‘Succulent Suite’ with its private verandah and breakfast room, the beautiful Japanese ‘Maeda Room’, an exotic ‘Moroccan Fantasy’ room boasting a claw foot bath and ‘The Dungeon’, complete with plush, sensual colours and mood lighting. (It’s worth visiting their website just to look at the rooms.)

The unique layout of The Retreat means each suite enjoys its own privacy, whilst courtyards, decks and the spacious Gallery provide beautiful common spaces.

Your hosts are self confessed ‘Foodies’ spoiling you with a 3-course gourmet breakfast, sunset drinks and nibbles on the deck. Enjoy an indulgent dinner platter for 2 served surrounded by candles and the garden beyond.

You’ll want to stay an extra night for the food alone.

Nestled in 1½ acres of whimsical gardens you will discover eclectic sculptures, water features and garden rooms. Whether you’re tempted to sit with a wine in hand and just chat, coffee and a good book, play Boules or Badminton on The Retreat’s full sized court, you’ll wish you had more time to stay. Whilst most guests are happy to just relax, unwind and indulge at The Retreat, the CBD with its café culture is only 2 km away. Discovering some of Tamworth’s great attractions like quality galleries, wineries, lookouts, cycle ways (mountain bikes available) and, of course music will surprise you.
