"First up we loved the place and thought it was very special and romantic and wished we could stay longer.

A couple of issue did pop up though. There was a cleaning charge of $125 which I fail to see the reason for. It states in the website it is for linen/cleaning but also requests that the cabins is cleaned and swept by the tenants before they leave, the rubbish put out and the towels etc put in the washing machine and if possible to start the wash cycle, which we did and left it as clean as when we arrived.

So the $125 is to wash a couple of sheets?

It certainly wasn't to clean the cabin as cobwebs were noticed in various places in the kitchen and the bathroom, so hopefully our money was put to cleaning the cabin properly.

Another issue was that for $150 a night I was hoping for more than one teabag to be supplied for that time. We had a packet of coffee to use, but as we are not great coffee drinkers this was not fully used, but to only have one teabag and about six sugar satchels for two nights seems a bit tight and left us disappointed when we arrived.

So we had to purchased our own provisions when we have stayed in other cabins these are generally supplied.

We were going to mention this in the feedback form that your info pack asked us to complete but as this was also not supplied we could not comment at the time.

As I said we had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay immensely, these couple of point took the shine off our stay a bit.

I would welcome any comments and more than happy to discuss this with you at any time.

Thanks again as it is a great cottage.

"A fantastic little cottage hideaway with the added touch of historical significance. Open fireplace was great as unseasonably cold weather on our first night, making for a snug and romantic first night in. We made use of the BBQ on the decking outside which was fantastic. A unique and fantastic little hideaway within easy walking distance to Robe's many attractions. Plenty of character and appeal. "

"What a beautiful cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Granny Banks is a perfect place for two. We cooked with fresh rosemary, enjoyed the lavender and loved the open fire amongst other things!!"

"Loved that it was tucked away, nice and quiet for a relaxing weekend away. Sitting on the sundeck soaking up the sun in winter was just bliss."
