The Australian ENERGY STAR programme www.energystar.gov.au is a joint initiaitive of the Australian Government and State and Territory Governments. It is an international standard for energy-efficient office equipment including computers, printers and photocopiers, and home electronics such as TVs, audio products and DVD players.
By buying equipment that complies with the ENERGY STAR standard, and making sure its energy saving features are enabled, you can save money on your electricity bills and help the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
