The Murraylands are dominated by one of the world's great rivers, the mighty Murray which carves its way past steep sandstone cliffs, giant red gums, wetlands and vast tracts of Mallee country. Murray Bridge is the gateway town, an easy one-hour drive from Adelaide.
River Murray paddle steamers once plied their trade along the river, but there's more to the Murraylands than the river. It is an ideal destination for a day trip or getaway. Visit local attractions including wildlife sanctuaries, pioneer villages and amusement parks as well as taking your own paddle steamer cruise.
