Majellan Lodge, Mowbray ParkMowbray Park Farmstay
Barker's Lodge Road, Picton, Southern Highlands, NSW

Overview
A great Australian farm stay, a wonderful example of Australian farmlife for children as well as international guests, and so close to Sydney as well! With all meals included and ensuite accommodation with a large communal living room, we could not have asked for more.

Overall rating: Excellent, with outstanding farm activities for children

Mowbray Park Farmstay - TractorWhat makes Mowbray Park different?
Not just any old farmstay, Mowbray Park is well organised to cater for small and large groups alike. It is a fun and action packed place to stay, yet because you don’t need to cook, you can relax, sit back and just enjoy your stay.

Mowbray Park - Majellan bedroomAccommodation overview
We stayed in Majellan Lodge, which is perfect for larger groups who wish to stay together yet have their own rooms. With 7 families, all with children, this accommodation was perfect. Majellan lodge has 7 family rooms each with ensuite, all rooms are heated and portacots can be provided if required. Two of the bedrooms have spa baths. Other accommodation options are also available.

Majellan Lodge had a large guest lounge room plus a sink area with microwave and tea and coffee facilities.

Mowbray Park - feeding the calvesFacilities Overview
Mowbray Park is a destination, it had everything we needed and more. If you’re talking facilities, the question is more ‘what hasn’t it got’. It has tennis courts, a swimming pool and spa, playground, archery, horse-riding, boomerang throwing, whip cracking, damper making, kids club, kids meals, farm animals, shearing displays, tractor rides, and a restaurant – hang on a minute, I think you might just have to bring your own wine!

Location/How to Get there
Take the M5 or M2/M7 from Sydney and take the Wollongong/Picton turnoff. Mowbray Park is located approximately 8kms from Picton on Barker's Lodge Road. Depending on traffic this takes about an hour and twenty minutes from central Sydney.
