Lisa Monk is a marketing communications writer with a diverse background that includes experience in travel, hotel, finance, public relations and advertising. She has worked with Club Med, the Holiday Inn group and on a number of other travel projects on a freelance basis.  Lisa has travelled throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, North America and Britain.
 
Lisa now works with occupancy.com as the editor of the Holiday Inspirations website and newsletter, and other e-publications.  She lives in Sydney with her husband and sons.
 
Kylie-Jane Degeling is a freelance writer who has lived in Adelaide,Yulara (Uluru), Alice Springs and Canberra, as well as five different countries throughout the world. After backpacking around Australia, she worked as a tour guide in Central Australia, before training for her commercial pilot license and working as a flight instructor and scenic flight/charter pilot. She later worked as a travelling IT trainer for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, which involved spending time in each of their 16 district offices around the country on a rotating basis. 
 
Having experienced Australia as a backpacker, tour guide, pilot and business traveller, Kylie now enjoys family holidays with her husband Alex and children Jezzy and Jordan. She says, “I have been lucky to see Australia from a variety of perspectives, and as a travel writer can use this experience to inspire others to find holidays they would enjoy.” Kylie currently works as a travel writer in addition to being a government writer and columnist for two parenting magazines.
 
Penny Parsons is one of the founders of TakeABreak.com.au. She loves to travel and it was this that led to the idea of a website that would provide easy and streamlined access to a huge variety of accommodation experiences.
 
Penny is now 'living her dream' and travelling around Australia, writing about her adventures, while still directing the marketing of the successful takeabreak.com.au and rentahome.com.au accommodation sites.
 
Bruce Mumford
Bruce Mumford lives at Burrawang in the NSW Southern Highlands with his wife Louise and sons, Ashley and Rohan. He was formerly an English, History and Drama teacher at high schools in Forbes, Nowra and Moss Vale. In 1990 Bruce was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and he is currently a disabled travel consultant. Since Bruce's retirement from full-time teaching, the family has travelled widely in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and overseas.
 
Nicole Corson
Nicole is the Online Marketing Assistant for Occupancy.com and enjoys organising accommodation reviews, working on holidayinspirations.com.au and a variety of other marketing activities. She has lived in Sydney, Canberra and the New South Wales Southern Highlands. She divides her holiday time between beach destinations and country ones and loves to take her two dogs, Isa and Cookie, to the many pet-friendly accommodation options around Australia.
