Once you have completed your order, your gift voucher(s) will be generated and dispatched to your chosen mailing address within one business day of your order.

Where Gift Vouchers expire before they are redeemed, we donate the full amount of the Gift Voucher to charities and community organisations. Some organisations we have supported in this way include Fit-for-dreams, Spastic Centre of NSW, Paraquad, Keep Australia Beautiful and Eco Voice.

Terms and conditions

• TakeABreak.com.au Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They are transferable but are not redeemable for cash.
• Bookings must be made at least seven days in advance of your arrival.
• Bookings are subject to availability.
• Gift Vouchers are only issued by Take A Break Away Pty Ltd through our website at www.TakeABreak.com.au, they are not issued by any other party.
• Each Gift Voucher has a unique number that can only be used once.
• To make a booking go to www.TakeABreak.com.au and make an enquiry with the operator of your choice. Select ‘TakeABreak Gift Voucher’ when asked the method of payment.
• To confirm your booking, once accepted by the accommodation operator, forward a copy of the Gift Voucher to the operator by mail.
• If no ‘TakeABreak Gift Voucher’ option is available at the time of booking, proceed with the transaction and contact TakeABreak on (02) 6100 7709 (Canberra) or (07) 3102 3759 (Brisbane) or (08) 9467 4392 (Perth) with the payment reference, booking confirmation number and voucher details. Then forward a copy of the Gift Voucher to TakeABreak by mail and TakeABreak will then remit the value of the booking or the voucher (whichever is less) directly to you.
• If the voucher is for more than the amount being redeemed in any one booking, TakeABreak will generate a new voucher for the balance to be issued to you if the balance is $50.00 or more.
• Once surrendered for payment, the TakeABreak Gift Voucher is taken as redeemed. Refund of the Gift Voucher for cancellation of your booking is subject to the terms and conditions advertised by the accommodation with whom the booking was made. Deposits and administration charges may apply.

Accommodation operators will charge guests directly for any additional expenses above and beyond the value of the Gift Voucher.
