Fit-for-Dreams Fun Squad
Looking for something to do that will get you fit, so that you can really get the most out of your next holiday? Well, Sydney's world famous City-to-Surf is coming up on August 13, so why don't you join the Fit-for-Dreams Fun Squad and be part of this fantastic event?
Hang on a minute, I hear you cry, isn't the City to Surf 14 kilometres long? You bet it is, but that's the beauty of the Fun Squad. Once you join up, we hold training sessions for walkers, runners and families with prams, every Sunday from 2nd July at Shelly Beach at 9.30 am, until the Big Race on Sunday 13 August.
Each run or walk gets a little bit longer than the last, until your primed and ready to go on Race Day.
Members of the Fun Squad get their own Fit-for-Dreams program to do each week, along with telephone support to keep you focussed during the week.
 The Fun Squad Package includes:
Each Sunday's training led by our qualified personal trainers and special guest coaches ($120)
Race Entry ($35)
T-shirt / Running Singlet ($30)
Refreshments after Training ($15)

Entry into the Fun Squad Marquee, food, drink, entertainment, massages and lucky door prizes ($60). Priceless on City to Surf Day!

We'll keep you focussed, driven and you'll have fun doing it. Everyone is working towards the same goal and what's more, when you cross that finish line, you'll really deserve the post race celebrations.
This is what participants had to say last year
“The Fun Squad is a great preparation for the City to Surf. It’s great to be part of something that’s well organised and caters for all levels. If you want to get serious you can. But if you just want to do it to relax and have fun you can do that to. There’s a great atmosphere of relaxation and achievement after every Sunday training session at Shelly Beach and you really enjoy it.” Jason Hilzinger
“Getting the feeling of being fit was huge. I just felt better, my reflexes were quicker, my thinking was faster and I just found myself thinking positively all the time. It really refreshed my outlook on life entirely. Andy Maher has one piece of advice for everyone:
“Go for it. The effort it will take isn’t as great as the difference it will make.” Andy Maher
"I was so glad to cross the finish line, but what was even better was knowing that we had somewhere to go after it. It was well organised and easy. We just turned up at the marquee, enjoyed the food, drink, music, sunshine and relaxed." Sarah Franklin
