Access to East Arnhem Land
Whichever way you are travelling to Nhulunbuy and the Gove Peninsula by road, please note that all of Arnhem Land is Aboriginal land, and thus visitors need permits to enter. Travelling the Central Arnhem Road includes travel over Yolngu Clan lands and a permit from Northern Land Council is needed.
