Welcome to the 2010 TakeABreak® Awards information page for Operators

Why hold the TakeABreak Awards?

At TakeABreak we see so many great places to holiday, we decided to award the best of the best. We know that there are so many different holiday options to choose from and we hope that this will help guests in selecting holiday accommodation and destinations that will really work for them. We've been running these awards since 2007.

The aim of the TakeABreak Awards program is to reward operator excellence in customer service and guest experiences.

About the  Awards

The best part of these awards is that they are:

• initiated by guests who have actually stayed at each property.
• evaluated on services provided to guests, guest comments, ratings and reviews

This means the awards go to the properties in each category where guests have the best experiences and get the best service.

What's in it for me?

Shortlisted properties receive:

• editorial coverage published on www.holidayinspirations.com.au and linked to your listing.

State Finalists and Winners receive:

• an awards certificate
• logos to use in online and print marketing
• automatic inclusion of logo on your listing
• exposure in our e-newsletters - now going out to over 350,000 subscribers.

National Winners receive:

• additional editorial by way of a property review
• a plaque to display in their entry area
• national media exposure

Improve your chances of winning!

• More guest reviews: Send your property link and request a review from guests that have previously booked.
• Improve your listing: Highlight the following information in your online listing/advert:

1. Features/products/services that you offer specific to the award category you wish to be considered for? (e.g. pet-friendly: fully fenced yard, pets allowed indoors)
2. What makes your property stand out above other properties in this category?
