Cottage

Yungaburra is at the heart of the Atherton Tablelands 700m above sea level, a cool, green environment.
Plenty to do and explore, pristine rainforest, lakes, waterfalls, spectacular scenery. Abundant wildlife: platypus, Lumholtz tree kangaroo, rock wallabies, tropical birds and butterflies. Restaurants, craft shops, markets and much more.

Locality

Set in bushland,bordering Peterson Creek. Abundant wildlife including the rare Lumholtz tree kangaroo; platypus can be seen in Peterson creek. Many birds endemic to North Queensland.
All of this, yet 100m from the village centre and it's many restaurants and shops.
A cruise is available on Lake Barrine; Lake Tinaroo offers a sunset cruise and boat hire suitable for fishing, also canoes.
Walk along Peterson creek and view the platypus and the tree kangaroo.
Walk, swim, picnic at crater lake Eacham.
Bowls club 5 min walking distance; tennis 10 min walking distance; golf club 10 kms away.
