"The owner was very friendly and happy to chat with my 4yo old about the animals. The kids had a ball feeding the alpacas, horses, tame kangaroo and the chickens. The playground and tennis court kept them occupied for hours so mum and dad got a break too! The accommodations was exceptionally clean and well presented. York was a lovely town to visit with quirky shops and friendly locals. We hope to return at the same time next year."

"What a great place to stay with young children. From the moment they woke in the morning they were getting dirty in the playground, helping feed the animals, running around bare foot in their pjs, they had a ball and I'm sure all parents will agree with me that if your kids are happy, you will be too. What a wonderfully relaxing weekend."

"York Cottages are absolutely beautiful. The setting is tranquil, ideal for a romantic getawy with a roaring fire. On the other hand it is great for kids who love animals, llamas, chickens, ducks and a kangaroo. There is also tennis, mini golf, a small games room and a spa.
The cottages themselves are fully equipped and built to perfection - they look like they were built a very long time ago.
The owners were very helpful before and during our stay.
