Locality

York Cottages is situated on 15 acres of farmland but only a short stroll into Avon Terrace, the main street of York.

York was established in 1831 and is WA's oldest inland settlement. It is home to many of WA's finest old buildings.

The picturesque Avon River runs through the centre of York with a 'swinging bridge' linking the east and west side of town.

Property

York Cottages is situated at the corner of Morris Edwards Drive and Ulster Road.

The three cottages were built to reflect some of York's orignal dwellings and are furnished with some lovely antique furniture.

The property is also home to a family of Alpacas, Sheep, Guinea Fowl, Turkey, Rooster, Hens and Chicks. The Alpacas and little chickens especially like to be fed by our younger guests.

The floodlit tennis court, spa and recreation room are also a favourite with guests.
