Wansbrough House Heritage Cottage B&B is the only small B&B in York awarded listing on the State Register of Heritage Places. The historic c1859 B&B colonial cottage and the entire site is part of our family home and offers comprehensive quality facilities for all seasons, magnificent mature landscaped gardens, hearty Australian country cooked breakfasts and a real sense of Australian colonial history.

The B&B is recommended by the international travel guide 'Footprints'.

The B&B is in the original c1859 cottage separate from, but located close to the rear of, the main building that we occupy. Although a separate building it is part of our family home.

You have sole guest status, complete privacy, your own entrance and secure off-street parking.

The B&B cottage provides a wrought iron bed with doona, patchwork quilt and electric blanket. It also has reverse cycle air conditioning, pot belly, fan, rugs on jarrah boards, TV, CD, radio, day chairs and table, magazines and books to peruse and complimentary welcome treats. The enclosed rear verandah of the cottage provides a private ensuite and a small kitchen sink area with drink making facilities, a range of teas and coffees and a fridge.
