Wansbrough House Heritage Cottage B&B is the only small B&B in York awarded listing on the State Register of Heritage Places. The historic c1859 B&B colonial cottage and the entire site is part of our family home and offers comprehensive quality facilities for all seasons, magnificent mature landscaped gardens, hearty Australian country cooked breakfasts and a real sense of Australian colonial history.
The B&B is recommended by the international travel guide 'Footprints'.
The B&B is in the original c1859 cottage separate from, but located close to the rear of, the main building that we occupy. Although a separate building it is part of our family home.
You have sole guest status, complete privacy, your own entrance and secure off-street parking.
The B&B cottage provides a wrought iron bed with doona, patchwork quilt and electric blanket. It also has reverse cycle air conditioning, pot belly, fan, rugs on jarrah boards, TV, CD, radio, day chairs and table, magazines and books to peruse and complimentary welcome treats. The enclosed rear verandah of the cottage provides a private ensuite and a small kitchen sink area with drink making facilities, a range of teas and coffees and a fridge.

The single bed-sit open space cottage offers one queen bed and accommodates one couple.
Monday to Thursday from $175:00 per room per night inclusive of cooked Australian country breakfast. Friday to Sunday from $185:00 per room per night inclusive of cooked Australian country breakfast. Festival weekends and special long weekends from $195:00 per night.
PLEASE NOTE that if you cancel an accommodation booking and the accommodation is not booked by other persons then a CANCELLATION CHARGE of $100:00 will apply between 15 and 8 days from the booked date or the full tariff charged if less than 8 days. If there is a "no show" then a charge of the full tariff booked shall usually apply.
