LocalityLocated 11kms from York in the direction of Northam, Tipperary Church is close to hot air ballooning and skydiving venues as well as the many heritage experiences of historic York itself. PropertyTipperary Church was built in 1892 to serve the religious needs of a small community centred on historic Tipperary Farm, one of the first inland farms in Western Australia. Functioning as a church until the late 1960's the building was damaged in the 1968 Meckering earthquake and was deconsecrated shortly afterwards. It was later sold and over a period of nearly thirty years was transformed into a comfortable private residence surrounded by landscaped gardens and rolling Avon Valley countryside.
