Faversham Courtyard accommodation comprises 6 air conditioned bedrooms set around a central paved courtyard with covered pergola area. Spacious guest louge with TV, fridge and comfy lounges complete the picture. Log fire in the winter.

"A really lovely historic house in the centre of York over looking a formal garden to the town. It would be a nice walk to the main street. I was offered (and accepted) an upgrade to a room in the main house which had a private bathroom down the hall (bathrobes provided). The room (on the upper floor) had a beautiful view across York to the surrounding hills, and included a large comfy sofa, tea and coffee facilities and a heater. Antique lighting and bedhead complemented the house. The separate bathroom was large, immaculate and included a range of toiletries. The courtyard rooms would have been the old servants rooms, and have outside access to a shared bathroom (possibly a bit chilly in winter). They would be great fun to share with a group of friends. A continental breakfast is provided in the large dining room. Freshly cooked pikelets were a lovely addition. I was invited to help myself to books to read and there were lovely lounge areas available. Our hosts were really nice, and helpful. Nola had recently had knee surgery so her husband (normally restricted to landscaping activities) was helping her out."
