* Located on the Capricorn Coast between Yeppoon and Emu Park in Central Queensland.

* Sparking in-ground pool.

* Free Wireless Broadband internet (BYO laptop).

* DVD Player available.

* Coin operated guest laundry.

* Free gas BBQ facilities provided.

* Ample parking (either on-site or at the front) for dozens of cars / boats / trailers.

* We do have two (2) "pet friendly" / "dog friendly" / "cat friendly" apartments, but only for clean, well behaved pets. (An additional fee of $10 per pet per night applies, and you must mention the pets in your phone / email enquiry to make sure we know about your pets and to make sure you are getting a "pet friendly" apartment).

* Restaurants and take-aways are within a few KMs.

* Situated on the Capricorn Coast between Yeppoon and Emu Park - right opposite the beautiful beach at Kinka Beach.

* Yeppoon is 12 Km (approx) to the North, and Emu Park is 5 Km (approx) to the South. Rockhampton is 45 Km (approx) to the West.

* Numerous restaurants (such as Thai, Chinese, Italian, sea food, steak, etc), as well as up-market resorts and the Keppel Bay Sailing Club, are all within a 12 Km radius. The nearest restaurant is 0.5 Km from our motel.

* Numerous take aways (such as Thai, Chinese, Italian, fish and chips, etc) are all within a 12 Km radius. The nearest take-away is 0.5 Km from our motel, and sells fish and chips, hamburgers, etc.

* Our apartments are family owned and operated, and we take a great deal of pride in the accommodation and facilities we provide. Everything is very clean and highly maintained.

* <b>CANCELLATION POLICY:</b> A minimum cancellation fee equal to 1 night's accommodation applies for all confirmed bookings that are cancelled within 7 days of arrival.

We are a beachfront motel and there is a narrow road to cross to get to the beautiful Kinka Beach, right in front of the motel.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Keppel Bay (right in front of our property) and Causeway Lake (1 Km to the north) are very popular Canoeing & Kayaking locations. Paddle boats, canoes, etc are for hire at Causeway Lake (1 Km to the north).

Close to Public Transport

Public transport within 5 minute walk, Public transport within 10 minute walk, Transport can be arranged from closest public transport facility at no extra charge, Bus service.

The local bus stop is located approximately 100 meters (approx. 110 yards) to the south. The bus runs from Rockhampton Airport, via Rockhampton train station, and major Rockhampton shopping centres, through Yeppoon, Rosslyn Bay Marina, and then to Kinka Beach (where we are located) and then through to Emu Park.

You can fish from the beach in front of the motel. At the northern and southern end of the beach in front of the motel, there are tidal creeks and a todal lake (Causeway Lake), which are very popular fishing spots. Boats can be hired at Causeway Lake (1 Km to the north). Fishing charters leave from Rosslyn Bay Marina (5 Km to the north).

There is very little privacy in communal areas at our motel - the pool, gardens, etc, are in plain view of the road and all other apartments.

Golf

Golf course located nearby.

The nearest golf course is at Emu Park (approx 6 Km to the South). But there are numerous other golf courses in the area: Zilzie Bay (10 Km to the South), Yeppoon (12 Km to the north), and Rudges Capricorn Resort (Yeppoon) 25 Km to the north, and there are also golf courses in Rockhampton (45 Km to the west).

Indigenous Experiences

The Dream Time Cultural Centre is located at Rockhampton (45 Km to the west), and tours are available (such as Little Johnnies Tours) that pick you up at our motel, take you to this and other local attractions, and then return you to our motel. In addition, Public Transport (bus) can pick you up at the bus stop about 100 metres (110 yards) from our motel and drop you at the Dream Time Cultural Centre.
