Cottage

Cheviot Glen has two fully self-contained cedar cottages situated in the heart of a 430 acre grazing property.

This relaxing retreat for adults has magnificent views of the countryside. Enjoy the tranquility, while sipping a drink on the verandah.

Facilities include a wood fire heater, queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with a twin spa, CD/stereo, VCR/DVD/TV. All linen provided. Breakfast consisting of tea, coffee, orange juice, cereals, bread, jams, bacon and eggs is supplied for our guests to make at their leisure.

There are BBQ and laundry facilities.
Guests can walk on the farm, visit wineries in the area, go on scenic drives, visit the Yea Wetlands, walk in the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve, visit Wilhelmina Falls and Cascades, eat in cafes, restaurants or pubs in Yea, play golf or simply relax.

Very cosy, relaxing, quiet and homely. The setting is perfect and we enjoyed coming back here for some excellent walks.

A touch of paradise. Majestic, everchanging views with perfect accommodation. Can't thank you enough.

Thank you for providing an ideal spot. Walking through the rolling hills of the farm was very de-stressing and to see the new born calves was such a bonus.

Locality

Yea is ninety minutes north east of Melbourne. It can be accessed via the Hume Hwy (turn off at Tallarook), the Yarra Valley or Whittlesea.

Cheviot Glen Cottages are just five minutes from Yea.

Attractions

There are numerous attractions in the area (see Details). Further afield is the Yarra Valley (45 minutes) with its numerous wineries, Eildon (50 minutes)with a fabulous lake for water sports and Mt. Buller (80 minutes)for the keen skier.

There are many scenic drives and interesting walks.
