Kiltynane Estate is a boutique vineyard/winery here at Tarrawarra. We look across to the Tarrawarra Abbey and the back of Domaine Chandon (Moet & Chandon's Australian winery). The property has Pinot Noir grown and made into top end wines - enjoy a private tasting during your stay. Luxury accommodation is provided in a stone and brick cottage with two separate and independent apartments. The exterior of the cottage and the main homestead are french provincial in design. The interiors are simple yet chic with every attention paid to making your stay as relaxing and inspiring as possible. There are many opportunities during your stay to enjoy wine, great cheese and special regional produce, galleries of fine art, antiques, bushwalking and bird watching, shopping or just relax in our unspoilt natural environment. The native garden provides privacy and beauty, the vineyards provide a peaceful way to walk and enjoy the countryside. We are five minutes from Healesville and Yarra Glen - half way between the two. The Tarrawarra Estate with it's Museum of Modern Art is just down the road. Healesville is home to the Wildlife Sanctuary, famous provendors and great shopping. Yarra Glen is a pretty country village with a very popular bakery and some great shops to buy unusual accessories and gift. We have top restaurants (incl. chefs hats awards) within 10 minutes drive. Kiltynane Estate is centrally located within the golden triangle of Yarra Valley wineries.

Kiltynane is an environmentally aware property, with native and exotic gardens, organic and biodynamic farming practices, recycling initiatives and rainwater conservation practices. The vineyards and winemaking avoid the use of chemicals. All our guest provisons and platters feature free range and organic produce wherever possible. The buildings sit among native trees and shrubs and are built in the french provincial style with vaulted ceilings and terra cotta tiled floors. Persian rugs and french country furniture add to the relaxed chic ambience of the cottage apartments.

Each of the two cottage apartments has it's own entry, front and rear verandah and BBQ area. Inside your apartment has it's own living room, kitchen, bathroom and queen size bedroom. The sofa in the living room folds out to a double bed. I can supply a fold up bed in addition for a single if you are singles travelling together. The maximum number of people per apartment is three. All linen is provided. There is an extra person cost of $50.00 per night to cover extra linen and provisions. There are extra blankets and pillows provided.
