Non smoking & adults only. The holiday cottage is ideal for couples wanting to stay in a themed authentic 1860's stone cottage. Entirely NON-SMOKING. A luxury QUEEN BED is provided in one bedroom. However for the complete 'early settler's cottage experience' choose to stay in the cosy cottage bedroom, which has an antique brass and iron double bed complete with luxury bed linen. This delightful bedroom is furnished with antiques and the bedroom leads off the great living room which has a huge open fireplace for warm wood log fires in winter (wood provided). There are two large screen televisions one of which is in the Queen Bedroom and there are DVD players and a video player. There is a huge open fireplace and heating by air conditioner available for winter. Airconditioned cooling available for summer. There are two comfortable large sofas on which to relax. Fully equipped eat in country gourmet kitchen with microwave, full gas oven and hotplates. Modern bathroom with deep bath and separate shower, laundry facilities and second toilet. Huge outdoor garden and sheltered sunny courtyard. Your well behaved, vaccinated, wormed toilet trained small ot medium family dog is welcome outdoors in the well fenced large yard at a surcharge of $35 per day. [Excess of one dog or a very large dog? - Only by prior agreement please.] No cats.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Yankalilla - On August 24 1994 an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared on the wall of the Anglican church in Yankalilla, about one hour's drive south of Adelaide. Since 1996 pilgrims have been coming to this church from all over the world. Yankalilla is the world's newest Marian Shrine. It is also the second known apparition of Mary in an Anglican church. The church has become almost as famous for an unusual series of events around the shrine as it is for the Apparition itself. Holy Water is available from the Shrine Well, and visitors are welcome to attend the Shrine Mass for the sick each Sunday at 1400.
