As you can see Corinium Roman Villa (modelled on the villas of ancient Rome) is set in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula on its own 43 acres and is designed as a quiet retreat. Its location makes it an ideal place from which to explore the many attractions the Fleurieu has to offer. Each self-contained apartment has a 2-person spa, wood fire, Q/S bed and kitchenette. If you want privacy, peace and tranquility and magnificent views, 400mm rammed earth walls, double cedar doors with brass fittings leading to your own verandah, then come and stay at Corinium.
There are three options listed below starting with our normal *BED AND BREAKFAST* stay for one night or longer followed by our special *SHORTS* package put together for the South Australian Tourism Commission. This is for a minimum of two nights and gives additional components that make your stay more special and provide a good "value for money" deal. Finally, for those who want to bring a little extra romance into their stay there is something very special with our *ROMANCE* package with its four poster bed, sparkling wine and chocolates.
We recently spent a weekend at Corinium; a wonderful experience. The tranquillity and views of the surrounding countryside, the accommodation with cosy quiet evenings by the fire, spa bath, comfy bed and tasteful personal touches make it amongst the best we have encountered in Australia. We strolled around the 43 acres at sunrise and sunset to watch kangaroos and listen to the symphony provided by the wild birds. A memorable experience - five stars out of five.

LocalityCentral to all the beautiful attractions for which the Fleurieu is famous - pristine beaches, the Hobart Artificial Reef dive site, the Horse Drawn Tram and Whale Watching at Victor Harbor, McLaren Vale Wineries and Deep Creek Conservation Park.
There are numerous walks - including part of the Heysen Trail - or you can visit a number of art galleries and studios. There are also a number of bric-a-brac, furniture and book shops where you can find a bargain.
Local eating options include three hotels, a Chinese/Thai restaurant, Beachside cafe, Lilla's cafe, two bakeries and several take-awy food outlets. For fresh fish and gourmet foods take a trip to the Jetty Store in Normanville.
Local cellar doors can be found at Trafford Hill and Twin Bays and other local boutique wines can be purchased at the hotels and resturants. PropertyCorinium Roman Villa is modelled on the villas at Pompeii and built of 400mm thick rammed earth walls.
Set on a plateau among the rolling hills of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula just 1 hour from Adelaide with spectacular views to the coast and the Inman Valley.
Each apartment offers modern luxury with wood fire, spa and queen sized bed. Large cedar French doors open onto private verandahs with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
