Meltdown-South Retreat offers a large double-sided wood fireplace, beautiful jarrah floors and a huge entertainment deck with BBQ facilities overlooking open bush, paddock and local wildlife. Entertainment deck also overlooks a children's playground including slide, cubby house, swing set & large grassed area.
Meltdown-South Retreat includes all modern conveniences. It contains 4 bedrooms (3 queens, 2 singles) 2 bathrooms plus laundry. A well equipped kitchen and a fantastic open plan living area with TV, video/DVD, CD player and stereo surround sound. There is a games room with fully equipped pool table. Family friendly, portacot and high chair available.
"An absolutely fantastic holiday home for a large family or a group of friends. VERY child friendly. Our kids had a fantastic time playing on the slide, swings and in the sandpit. Owner was a delight to deal with as well. Will be renting this home again in the future! "

Local AttractionsMeltdown-South Retreat is just a short drive to restaurants, wineries and galleries and beaches.
Beaches: The house is situated 5 minutes drive from the famous Yallingup and Smiths Beaches. Both beaches are great to take the children to and ideal for snorkeling and fishing.
Surfing & Snorkeling: Yallingup surf breaks and Smiths Beach breaks are ideal for all levels. There are heaps of other breaks nearby as well.
Wineries and other attractions: There are a number of quality wineries and other attractions just minutes away. Meltdown-South Retreat is around the corner from local attractions such as Lamont's Winery, Ganyulgup Galleries, Simmo's Ice Creamery and numerous others.
Fishing, Snorkeling, Caves, Diving: There are many options for the outdoor adventurers. Contact the local tourist bureau for more information. Booking DetailsThere is a maximum of 8 adults allowed at any time. There will be a fee of $10/person/night for any more than 8 people. There are 5 floor mattresses available for extra guests. No pets are allowed. A $200 refundable security deposit is required with each booking. A $300 refundable security deposit is required with bookings during the Christmas and Easter school holidays and special events.
Bookings are from 2 pm day of arrival and 10 am day of leaving, so cleaning can be done for incoming guests.
Bedrooms are supplied with doonas and pillows. BYO Linen. Full linen is available at $12/person/night.
Unfortunately we DO NOT rent the house to leavers during leavers week.

Rooms
Meltdown-South sleeps up to 8 adults in 4 bedrooms. The configuration is a queen with ensuite, queen beds in the second and thrid bedrooms and a bunk bed (2 singles) in the fourth bedroom. A portacot is also available should this be required for infants. There are 5 spare matresses in the games room for extra people. The games room can be closed off for privacy.
Bedding is included (pillows, doonas and blankets. Linen (sheets and towels) can be provided for $12/person/night.
Peak Season (December, January, February, March) - $295/night or $2050/week
Except Christmas where min stay is 7 nights - $2750/week or $395/night
Mid Season - (April, May, September, October, November)-
$275/night or $1910/week
Easter min stay is 4 nights at $395/night
Low Season (June, July & August) - $250/night or $1735/week
If you require linens, they will be charged out at $10/person/night.
Fee for any person over 8 people is $10/person/night.
