Kelly and Wright Luxury Accommodation is only 70m from Beechworth Shops and consists of 3 separate self-contained cottages, Pickett Cottage (yet to renovate), Kelly House and Wright House. All up "Kelly and Wright Luxury Accommodation " will accommodate up to 21 guests. Set as a back drop is Spring Creek with 150yr old poplars towering high in the sky,offering glorious shade,the rustling of wind through the leaves and a home to a family of kookaburras.

Kelly House & Wright House have been named after the historic 20 round bare fisted fight that Ned Kelly had with Isiah "wild" Wright over a horse theft that Ned was jailed for after he brought it from Wright. The fight took place on this property at the rear of the Imperial Hotel that was once thriving here in its hay day.

Wright House has been constructed as a lower floor (fire rated & sound insulated) to Kelly House and as a total independent luxury cottage. It has been meticulously constructed using largely recycled windows, including leadlights, doors, baltic flooring, dado baltic lining boards, kitchen bench tops and many other treasures from the 1800,s to give it the charm and character of 19th century architecture which compliments Kelly House above. It has the warmth & feel of an original 19th century home.

It comprises of 2 large bedrooms each with ensuites. One of these ensuites (with a large dble spa) serves also as a semi ensuite to the end of the living area, with a sofa bed for an additional 2 people.
Each of the two bedrooms has additional bedding ,one with a 3/4 single bed ,the other with a standard single bed.

Wright House boasts great family style accommodation whether it be one family plus extended family or 2 families. It also perfectly suits 2 couples offering an ensuite each and includes satelite Tv with large screen.
Heating consists of a fan forced wood combustion heater plus a split system A/C and heater.

With the enviroment and carbon emissions in mind we are also Eco friendly offering tank water servicing all toilets and garden, and solar hot water servicing up to 20 showers per day FREE from the Sun. We are also wired up for a future grid electricity solar system to be added where we hope to provide the majority of electricity used during your stay.
