This established cabins resort on the 9 self-contained cabins. Wooli is on the longest stretch of undeveloped coast in NSW.

Nine self-contained cabins each enjoy a view of the river, the swimming pool and barbeque. They are only metres from the Wooli Wooli River and 800 metres from the surfing beach. Set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Wooli River Lodges provides a getaway for those seeking a quiet and natural environment.

Enjoy the simple pleasures - explore the river in a canoe or paddle boat, swim, surf, fish or relax and watch the river go by. You can venture out on a fishing charter, a whale watching tour or go snorkeling or diving and explore the beautiful Solitary Islands Marine Park.

Fisherman can use our own boat ramp or choose between the best beach, rock, estuary or deep sea fishing spots.

Eating in Wooli is very easy, with Harry's Chinese Restaurant in The Wooli Bowling Club, Emilio's Bistro in the Wooli Hotel or Waves Restaurant.

Wooli River Lodges is a rejuvenating break for anyone wanting to get away from it all. We felt like we'd been away for a week, but we'd only been here for 2 days.

Locality


Wooli is a quiet unspoilt fishing village, surrounded by the Yuraygir National Park and Solitary Islands Marine Park. The Wooli Wooli River is on one side of the town and the sea is on the other. Visitors enjoy the peace an quiet and either relax or get into some fishing, swimming, surfing, boating, bushwalking or birdwatching.
Famous Wooli Oysters as well as prawns and fresh fish are available at the Wooli Oyster Supply.
You can also take in some tennis at the local tennis courts, do some bowling at the bowling club or take a boat upstream or downstream to explore the river and the excellent fishing.
Other fishing spots include our riverbanks, the wall, the beach or you can go out wide with a fishing charter to enjoy Wooli's excellent catches.
Diggers Camp has a spectacular rock platform with many rockpools and a good surf.
Minnie Waters also has good surf and fishing.

Wooli River Lodges has 9 self-contained cabins on 2 acres of landscaped gardens, right on the river. The gardens are mature with mainly native plants to attract the birds. Grassy areas are great for kids to play and the water is shallow at our riverbank.

Our own boat ramp means that fishermen can put their rowboats in and leave them in the water for their stay.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Guests can hire Old Town Rockport 4 seater canoes and 4 seater Paddle Boats for reasonable rates. Hire includes paddle and lifejackets.
Canoes are $15 per hour and $25 per 2 hours
Paddle boats are $15 for 30 minutes and $25 for 1 hour.

Wooli River Lodges is set beside the Yuraygir National Park with its spectacular flora and fauna. The bird life that visits our location is varied and numerous, including waders. We recycle our waste and are in the process of applying for eco accreditation.

Family Friendly


Wooli River Lodges is very suited to children who like the outdoors and water and who enjoy seeing native animals at close range.
We have a pool with a shallow end that has a shade over it. The covered BBQ area is right next to the pool. There is a large grassy area in front of the cabins and between the pool and the river and children enjoy playing here. There is enough space for them to have games of cricket or soccer. The river is particularly suited to children who want to fish because its mainly shallow but with a deeper part near the boat ramp. They can catch yabbies with our yabbie pump and use them for bait. They will catch whiting, bream or flathead from our riverbank or just downstream near the yabbie catching area.
The river has a sandy beach and it is suitable for children to paddle. At the mouth of the river, further downstream from us, there is a large shallow part of the river which is excellent for children or all ages.
Native animals that they can see at Wooli River Lodges include possums, sugar gliders, bandicoots, kangaroos and wallabies and occasionally emus. Birds are many and varied and include tawny frogmouths, dollar birds, heron, eagles, jabiru occasionally, many different parrots and galahs and honeyeaters.

North Solitary Islands and Pimpernell Rock offer excellent diving and snorkelling. Wooli Dive Centre offers this service.

Wedding venue


Wooli River Lodges is perfectly situated for weddings with a large grassy area right on the river. The BBQ area is nearby and has gas, electricity and water. We have 2 acres of landscaped gardens, with native plants to attract the birds.
Guests can stay in our 8 self-contained cabins and others could stay in nearby rental houses or at the Wooli hotel motel.
