Cottage, Farm stays

There are four self-contained mud-brick cottages which are well-spaced for privacy. Each cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area. One cottage is wheelchair friendly.

The cottages are eco-friendly and have solar panels, batteries, and a diesel backup generator. They also have their own rainwater tank, solar hot water system, sewerage treatment system, a slow combustion wood heater and cooking is with LPG.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two king single beds and a trundle bed.

Overview

History

Hill Valley Farm was originally a macadamia and citrus farm, but had been neglected for many year. Our farm is in the process of being restored to a working farm. We plan to grow a diverse number of different fruits, such as oranges, mandarins, lemons, grapes, dragon fruit, passion fruit and blue berries. And we will have our own vegetable and herb gardens. We are planning to have a wide variety of animals such as alpacas, goats and chickens.

We pride ourselves on being a farm that uses organic farming principles. Thus no harmfullchemicals and all natural.

Activities

Our larger dam can be used for swimming, fishing (stocked with silver and golden perch) and kayaking. Go for a walk to our own waterfall or enjoy birdwatching. But most of all, relax in our tranquil surroundings.

The local beaches are within a 30 minute drive, Corindi Beach, Red Rock, Mullaway, Arrawarra and Woolgoolga. Super markets at Woolgoolga, Moonee Beach, Coffs Harbour and Grafton. Restaurants, cafes, clubs and pubs at Woolgoolga.

The Coffs Coast, Clarence Valley and surroundings are blessed with many Nature Reserves, National Parks and State Forests, such as Sherwood Nature Reserve, Bindarri National Park, Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Moonee Beach Nature Reserve, Mutton Birth Island Nature Reserve, Wedding Bells State Forest, Conglomerate State Forest, Lower Bucca State Forest, Yuraygir National Park, Red Rock Reserve, Washpool National Park, Gibraltar National Park Nymboi-Bindery National Park, Dorigo National Park.

Location

Halfway between Coffs Harbour and Grafton in NSW and 12 km West of the Pacific Highway.
The village of Corindi Beach, 14km from the farm, has a post office, a general store and pub. The closest town is Woolgoolga, only 20km, for supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, clubs, pubs, doctors, dentist and churches.
