Locality

Wool Bay is situated on the Eastern side of Yorke Peninsula, a comfortable 2 1/2 hrs drive from Adelaide (nestled between Stansbury & Edithburgh).
The sandy bay features a permanently moored pontoon - popular with swimmers, sun shelters to enjoy lazy days on the beach, jetty, boat ramp, public toilets and showers (public toilets/shower facilities suffered storm damage and are currently pending new construction - temporary toilets only are in place at present)
Snorkel, walk or fossick at low tide in the tidal pools around the coves.
Drop a line at the jetty for squid.
Have a hit of golf at the 9 hole course.
Cycle or walk the nearby coastal leisure trails.
Pack lunch and take a scenic drive. Allow plenty of time as there are many beautiful beaches, bays and scenery along the way.
Wattle Point Windfarm near Edithburgh is well worth a look.
Edithburgh tidal pool is great for small children.
Boaties and anglers are well catered for with jetties and boat ramps at nearby Stansbury & Edithburgh.
Browse and grab a bargain at the outdoor Stansbury Foreshore Markets (seasonal).
Dine out at one of the many cafes, hotels and takeaway facilities dotted around the peninsula.
Innes National Park can be reached in under an hour.
The Western side of the peninsula can be reached in under half an hour.

We are located a short 400m walk to beach access. Shallow waters at low tide provide an excellent play area for young children. A permanent pontoon provides hours of fun and sun shelters ensure all day shade. Public toilets & showers are also located within the car park.

Bushwalking & wilderness

Located near a National Park.

Innes National Park is located under an hour's drive away offering a bushwalking & wilderness experience; an easy day trip.

Close to Public Transport

Public transport within 10 minute walk, Bus service.

Yorke Peninsula coaches travels between Adelaide & Wool Bay at least 3 times per week. Refer to www.ypcoaches.com.au for timetable and fare schedule.

Family Friendly

Games/videos for children between 5 and 12 available, Games/videos for children over 12 available, Fenced/safe outdoor play area, Plastic crockery and cutlery available for children.

Fully fenced 1/2 acre block for bike riding & leisure activities and a 2nd TV & DVD player in bedroom 3 (selection of DVD's & games provided).

Secure storage for BYO fishing equipment provided, racks for rods, outdoor fridge/freezer, well lit fish cleaning station/sink and ample room for boat parking. YP fishing guide provided. Wool Bay has its own jetty & boat ramp (4WD recommended for launching). Jetties and boat ramps are also located in nearby Stansbury and Edithburgh.

Our property is located across the road from the Wool Bay 9/18 hole scrapes golf course (BYO clubs). Gate access is a short walk away.

Rates are inclusive of up to 6 people. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness, a professional clean is carried out on your departure.

MINIMUM 2 night stay applies unless stated otherwise.

A $200 refundable security deposit (refunded within 14 days of your departure date less penalty fees if applicable) applies and must be received prior to your arrival

Standard check out is 10am. Subject to availability a 'relaxed' late check out until 12pm is $40, a 'lazy' late check out until 2pm is $60 and a 'cruzy' late checkout until 4pm is $80. Please request at the time of booking if required.

Linen & towel pack (fitted sheet, bath towel, face washer & tea towel) can be arranged by prior notice for an extra $15 per person. Please request at the time of booking if required.
