Baranduda Homestead is an historical property once the centre of the 10,000 acre Baranduda Station. Lotties Cottage is located about 80 metres from the homestead, out of view, secluded and private with an beautiful view of nearby Mt. Murramarangbong.
"Absolutely adorable. We were so relieved to arrive at Saddle Hut on a scorching day to discover an air-conditioned, romantic haven waiting for us. The humble exterior hides a delightfully decorated cottage. We were inspired by how Liz & Ken have smartly fitted a spacious bedroom/lounge/kitchen with a separate bathroom - all you need. The setting was beautiful and the spa, luxurious. A shame we were only passing through - could have happily stayed all week. We are adding this to our top list of stops along the Hume. "

"We stayed in the Saddle Hut and it was perfect for a quiet weekend away. Cozy cottage, peaceful setting, friendly but unobtrusive hosts. The cottage feels incredibly private, with its view over an olive grove, and it was thoughtfully stocked with lots of little things to make our stay more comfortable. We didn't end up trying the spa in the end - we were too distracted checking out the local sites, the weather was a bit drizzly, plus we weren't sure how to turn it on! - but it was nice to know it was there. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. "

"My husband & I stayed in the Saddle Hut - "very cosy" nestled in amongst the olive grove & when we arrived the lamp was on & lovely music playing, and the spa was warm and ready for a relax. All we needed for breakfast was provided and some of the best Olives grown on the property. Saddle Hut is our new favourite get away and will definitely be back."

"We stayed in Lotties Cottage and felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the front door. The cottage is beautifully furnished, and feels homely and comfortable. We brought our two whippets with us and they thoroughly enjoyed playing with the resident doggies and having ample space to run around. We loved that breakfast ingredients (including lovely fresh bacon, eggs and home made jam) were supplied, along with a well stocked cupboard and fridge. We couldn't ask for better hosts - they were lovely and more than accommodating.
We could easily have stayed here a week or two - would definitely come back again!"

"My wife, our puppy girl and myself had a wonderful stay in the cottage. We enjoyed the private jacuzi and also the excellent hospitality. The cottage is beautiful and we felt like we were living in the genuine 1800s cottage (which it indeed is). It is also close to attaractions like Mt Beauty, Bogong Villag, Falls creek and also Wodonga. My Rating is 9/10 !"

"We absolutely loved this place...the setting was beautiful & the property was very comfortable & tastefully decorated. We love the idea of leaving all the breakfast ingredients ready for us to cook at our own leisure rather than having to fit into a time slot. Great place to get away as a retreat or a restful weekend.
Cheers
Mustafa"

"It was a delightful stay. Facilities were lovely, owners very friendly and welcoming. Our 2 little dogs also thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They were very kind to leave a cupboard and fridge stocked with all kinds of foods; freshly layed farm eggs from their own chickens and the most delicious jams were waiting for us....... high recommended and will definitely stay there again."
