"We were very disappointed and complained in writing. The Resort is more a Conference/Function Centre than a resort and the noise of people leaving functions is disturbing. We imagined a resort in rolling acreage, not a function centre just off the highway. the courtyard rooms have a car park on one side and the "courtyard" on the other, which is actually a main thoroughfare. Breakfast was very nice and the rooms were nice. Staff were polite and obliging."

"Our stay at the Sebel Resort Hawkesbury Valley was great. From the moment we arrived the staff we so attentive. As we were arriving with friends that had to travel a far way we asked if we could have early check in. We were accomodated without any fuss. The quality of the rooms we found excellent. The food at the restaurants we supberb. I'm sure we'll be back for some more pampering. Thankyou so much."

"Food at breakfast was brilliant, as were staff!
Room size was small in comparsion to similar places through other chains. And I am concerned at the interpretation of a twin room... twin room means two beds usually of a similar size... not a kings size and a fold out matress.
Very noisy having families in the same areas as rooms with adults... lots of running out on balconies and in room upstairs with sound carrying through.
I wanted to take my mother to the Sebel for a treat..... but it wasn't anything special and I know from the complaints being made at the front desk that I am not the only person expecting more for my money.....
I don't want to harrass the wonderful staff. It is not their fault that the resort isn't meeting the expectations its guests. More realistic photos need to be used in all situations! Looks brilliant in brochures, but the dull little room is nothing like the picture."
