Holiday house

The Sea Eagla is purpose built as beach holiday accommodation. All the bed rooms have views. The King bedroom upstairs is decadant, it is simply the best bedroom for rent in South Gippsland, the views are incredible, a private deck and a double shower that has amazing views.

Cape Liprtap, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia has an amazing number of indigenious bird species.

Fauna
The forests are important as they have tree hollows which provide nesting sites for a variety of birds and mammals. The Common Brushtail Possum, Ringtail Possum and Sugar Glider are nocturnal, resting during the day in tree hollows and emerging only at night to feed under the cover of darkness.
The extensive heathlands near Walkerville are home to the Southern Emu-wren and a diverse range of honeyeaters. The park also echoes to the calls of the Eastern Whipbird, Crimson Rosella and Pied Currawong.
Along the coast you may see Pacific Gulls, Silver Gulls, Sooty Oyster-catchers and Herons feeding on the beach and rock platforms of Cormorants and Australian Gannets diving for fish.
The park is also home to the Common Wombat, Swamp Wallaby, Koala, Echidna and the rare Swamp Antechinus

The Sea Eagle beach house is surrounded by the Cape Liptrap coastal park, the walks are great. At low tide walk South and explore the historic Lime Kilns, caves and beaches. Walk North towards the small town of Sandy Point. Or walk the famous Wilsons Prom National Park.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Guests welcome to bring their own canoe/kayak, Located on waterfront, Less than 5 minutes walk to water, Less than 5 minutes drive to water.

The Sea Eagle overlooks Waratah Bay and Wilsons Prom, Walkerville North is a small hamlet surrounded by National Park. The house faces East so it is very protected and is fantastic for safe Canoeing.
Paddle down to the Walkerville South "magic beach" and around Bird Rock, it is a great area of kids through to experienced paddlers

The Sea Eagle Beach House is surrounded by National Park, it is 5 star energy rated, all water is rain water. There is composting at the property.

Fishing

Walkerville North is an excellent base for fishermen, there is a beach boat ramp at Walkerville North. The Sea Eagle is waterfront and has ample boat parking area. The owner is a keen fisherman and you are welcom to ask him questions before booking. Target species are Trevally, Snapper, Flathead, Gummy Shark, Mullet, Calamari and the famous 'Walkerville Whiting" often as thick as your forearm.

Luxury

The Sea Eaqgle is brand new completed April 2010, it does not get better than this. The upstairs master bedroom has incredible views, a private deck and an amazing shower. Look at the photographs.

Scuba diving

There are great shore dives and boat dives in Waratah Bay and around Wilsons Prom. Walkerville township faces East and is very protected from the weather, this makes great diving.

Waterfront

You can throw a rock in the water at high tide from the front deck of the Sea Eagle beach house. The house is on a head land and the views of Waratah Bay and Wilsons Prom are incredible. The shower has the best view of any house in South Gippsland, check out the photographs.

Whale Watching

Whale watching possible from property, On-shore whale watching nearb.

If you are lucky you will see a Whale swim into Waratah Bay.
