"We are a group of 8 friends that have been going away together for 15 years. We love a little bit of luxury and comfort. Lara at Liptrap was absolutely wonderful - we felt like we had been away longer than just a weekend - but would have liked it to have been much longer. Could highly reccommend this for any age group - so comfortable - the isolation adds to the beauty of the property. Very spacious which allows the diversity of groups to have their own space. All mod cons one could ask for. Highly reccommend for anyone wanting the perfect escape. Surrounding beaches and scenery magic. Wendy VIC"

"This was the best beach house I have ever stayed in. Ssh don't tell everyone or we'll never get another booking!!
Happy to just enjoy this comfortable house which is so aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully decked out! Extremely spacious, clean, and well equipped.
There is no need to bring toys, tennis racquets, and kids bikes as it is all provided. Tennis court, trampoline. Plenty of books, magazines. Gather farm free eggs, lounge on the large lush manicured lawns front and back.
Located close to Walkerville beaches. Best enjoyed by sharing with another family or friends."

"What a great, friendly and secluded spot. We had lovely weather, the house was cosy, clean and above expectations. Most of all we enjoyed the huge beautiful garden. We have explored every centimeter of it and spotted lots of wild life. This house has something to do for everyone and although we did leave to do a few trips in the beautiful area, we loved most to spend time around the house. Thanks from Marit (+ hubby, 4 children and 2 parents in law). We'll definitely be back. "

"We had a wonderful weekend at Lara. The holiday was a new experience for us with the beautiful surroundings and the farm animals. We visited the Cape Liptrap lighthouse but most of all we wanted to spend quality time with our families and we were able to do that because of the quite location and breathtaking views. We will always remember this holiday. "

"We have just returned from celebrating our 10th Wedding anniversary at Lara. What a fantastic place to celebrate such an occassion. The house is beautifully presented, clean, with everything you need, lots of space and lots to do or just sit back and take in the wonderful scenery.
We enjoyed games of tennis, drinks on the lawn at dusk, a game of bocce and had a fantastic meal in the dinning room. It is a unique and beautiful spot. We will definately be back and recommending Lara to the rest of our friends and family.

"I could not recommend this property more highly to anyone. We had a magnificent family weekend at Lara at Liptrap. Lindy went over and above in her endeavour to make sure that our family had a great weeekend. We have had the opportunity to stay at many places and this definiteley rates at the top. What a beautiful residence that Lindy has chosen to share, which accomodates both young and old alike. We definitley hope to be back again! What a beautiful part of the world to experience, right at our doorstep.
Many thanks Lindy for your generous hospitality."

"WOW, i took 5 residents and 2 other staff from an aged care facility in sale, to stay at lara for 3 nights in march, our first impression going up the driveway was "wow" on entry to the house our reaction was "WOW" the beds were conmfortable, the nice letter and chocolates were a LOVELY SURPRISE, the house was warm and inviting, the residents couldn't get over the length of the house and how it all looked so lovely. Feeding the chooks were a real treat, and being able to let them out and watch them dig in the garden was a reminiscence delight. we were able to walk down the driveway and up the road without a problem, we named the guarddog out the front Hydro(as he needed water, he was a bit dehydratyed), the gardens were spectacular, having so many bedrooms and bathrooms were what drew mw to the house in the first place and now we will go back with another group, i have residents already wanting to book for the next trip. No body wanted to leave when it was time, they loved it so much. We have already recommended Lara to so many relatives from the facility, lindy has been more than helpful, with all her contacts and ideas, and sugestions, we cannot praise Lindy and Lara enough. Thank-you Lindy."

"Relaxing, tranquil stay in a beautiful house with enough room for everyone. Lots to do at the house including walks, collecting eggs from the chooks, loads of games both indoor and out, but also very close to Walkerville, Tarwin Lower and Venus Bay if you need anything. "

"We had a fantastic time at Lara, We only had 4 days but could have stayed so much longer. The house was ideal, especially with the bedrooms being so far from the living area, and with all the separate areas, so much space! The kids had such a ball, there was so much to do, both at Lara and in the area. Everything we needed was there, and the owners were so helpful. We'll be back!"
