Set on the South Coast near Cape Liptrap, close-by Walkerville, Sandy Point and Venus Bay beaches and just over 2 hours from Melbourne, 'Lara' is the ideal getaway to spend time with family and friends or celebrate special occasions. No traffic, no neighbours, no noise just a special place to relax and enjoy time out.
A meandering driveway winds its way through a tea-tree tunnel to reveal the light filled architecturally designed house set on 5 acres surrounded by old growth gums, coastal banksias and established gardens.

- Offering two separate living areas, two dinning areas, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, children's play room and tennis court, trampoline and table tennis.
- Open plan main living area with LCD Television, surround sound dvd, combustion heater, family dinning area with 10 seat table and adjacent well equipped kitchen.
- Seperate formal dinning area with 10/12 seat table.
- Large sliding doors leading outside from all living areas to full length outdoor verandah, inviting in tranquill rural views and sea breezes.
- Second large lounge area ideal for relaxing with comfy couches, sound system and open fireplace.
- Outdoor Alfresco dining area, Beefeater BBQ, Market Umbrellas and Brazier available.
- Separate laundry with washing machine, large sink, beach rinse shower and further toilet.

- A bedroom wing with five bedrooms soundproofed from the living quarters.
- Bedding configuration which accommodates 12 guests comfortably includes: Master, 1 x Queen with en-suite, 1 x queen, 1 x double, 2 x single beds, 4 x bunk beds and trundle. All beds made up and bed linen provided.

What a fantastic weekend we had for our 3 generation family annual weekend away.
Plenty to do for all ages and the kangaroo even made an appearance, causing great excitement.
All the little treats were greatly appreciated by all.
The excellent layout made it a pleasure to have a full house.

- Sitting out on the verandah at dusk, listening to the birds and watching the sun go down.
- In winter, the weekend papers, a cup of coffee/tea, and a good CD while sitting on the comfy couches in front of the open fire.
- Enjoy a BBQ at the big outdoor table.
- Family cricket match on the front lawn.
- Bring kites for the kids - space to fly!
- Try your hand at a game of Bocce out on the front lawn
- Take the raquets, dips and drinks down to the tennis court for a tournament.
- Pack a picnic and head to Wilsons Promontory.
- Visit the Cape Liptrap Lighthouse.
- Marvel at Walkerville Magic beach and the Historic Limekilns.
- Enjoy coffee, home made icecreams and pizza at the wonderful Walkerville kiosk.
- Go Rock pooling or fishing at secluded Bear Gully Beach
- Swim & surf, at Sandy Point, Waratah Bay and Venus Bay beaches.
- Head to the family friendly Tarwin Riverview pub for a meal.
- Located in nearby Fish Creek a visit to the Celia Rosser gallery is not to be missed. Botanical works, cafe and concerts.
- Enjoy a wander around Inverloch, coffee, some shopping or a meal at the Espy.
- Tee off at the 18 hole picturesque Meeniyan golf course.
- Visit ever popular Koonwarra Farmers market...1st Sat/month.

ON ARRIVAL: All beds are made up so you can unpack and begin relaxing straight away.
Also supplied are bath mats/hand towels/ttowels, hand/bath soaps, dishwashing/cleaning basics, firewood, BBQ gas, tennis raquets.

There is a General Store, butcher, chemist, garage, hotel, at nearby Tarwin Lower.
Baby sitting is also available by prior arrangement if required.

Where ever possible we aim to offer a late checkout, this is dependant on other guests arriving same day.
Please note the property is not suitable for schoolies groups. Min age group bookings is 24.
