"Charming accommodation and hostess, historic house & good location. Decorated with some style & free of dried flowers! A good base if you are exploring Willunga. The sitting room/kitchen area is small, which might be a concern if you planned a lengthy stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne of Willunga. We found the accommodation to be of excellent quality, the breakfast supplies to be varied and more than enough for the time we were there and our hosts were really friendly and gave us helpful hints on where to eat and waht to do while we were there. The garden at Hawthorne of Willunga were the highlight of the accommodation and we took many beautiful photos that we will be sending to Shar and Steve when our computer is repaired. We felt the B&B was excellent value for what we got and we would not hesitate to recommend our friends to stay there if they are in the area."

"Standard of accommodation - good (but would not suit some who are after a more 'luxury experience)
Value - excellent
Service - very good
Overall experience - very good; operators very kindly volunteered to reinburse some of the payment when my partner was unable to join me due to an illness in the family. This was very generous and considerate, and unneccessary. "

"Very nice accomodation.Expensive. We had to prepare our own cold breakfast, would have expected a cooked breakfast for the price. The room was cold and we left the heating on.Accomodation was clean and otherwise comfortable."

"We were very impressed with what was on offer at this B & B residence. The Facilities were excellent & the Bed was extremely comfortable.
The Bottle of Wine & Brie Cheese was a nice touch.
We have already booked again for a stay next year. This time for a longer period.
We had plenty of privacy, but still enjoyed talking to Sharon & Steven when our paths crossed."

"A sweet place to stay in a great location - very close to the Willunga Sat morning markets. A bit smaller than the photos led us to believe but quite adequate for an overnight stay for 2 people. Apparently it is still a 'work in progress' so there is a communal lounge, which I gather will be up and running once the room is renovated. Very comfy bed (which is always one of our main concerns!)"
