Cottage

Guests at the Whitsunday Heritage Cane Cutters Cottage wish they could stay for ever or take the Cottage home with them! Perfectly located, just minutes from Airlie Beach and its boat departures for the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands, this 100 year old Cottage has been completely restored and is on a private country property where you have your own driveway and can enjoy the experience of the Australian tropical life. Wallabies and birds abound, which you can enjoy watching from the cool verandah. Unique and quite special.

Locality

The World Heritage listed Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park are just on our doorstep. A range of island, resort, sailing, scuba diving or snorkelling activities are all available.

The Cane Cutters Cottage is one of the first permanent homes in the district and has been restored with the addition of modern facilties.

Property

The Cane Cutters Cottage is an 100 year old original Queensland corrugated iron and timber home. Fully restored in 2001, using all the original building materials, it is a perfect home away from home. Equipped today with modern facilties, furnished with comfortable and practical family antiques, the Cottage is a special place that will stay in your memory for ever.
