Guests will need a high clearance vehicle or 4 wheel drive vehicle to access the property. Access is through a locked gate and then 4 km of track. Owners will meet guests at the gate on the Dingo Beach Hydeaway Bay Road. Please indicate that you have a suitable vehicle. The property can also be accessed by boat.

Holiday house

The level property is situated in a tree shaded shelted setting with right of way access to Sunset Beach. The low set house features two bedrooms, kitchen, dining, lounge and bathroom. Ourdoor areas include outdoor furniture, gas and wood BBQ.
Can sleep up to six (Queen & two single beds, futon and fold down sofa in lounge and extra bedding if required. House fully self contained. Gas oven, fridge/freezer and chest freezer.
Boats can be launched directly from the property at all tides. Fish from the beach, snorkle, swim or walk along the sandspit or to beautiful palm tree lined Sinclair Bay.

Locality

Approx. 45 km from the nearest towns of Proserpine or Airlie Beach.
From the Bruce Highway travel along the Dingo Beach road, turn on to the Hydeaway Bay Road. Entry is 2km along on the Hydeawy Bay Road.
Sunset Beach is aptly named for the beautiful sunsets viewed from the beach. The natural scenery surpasses most of the Whitsunday Island destinations without leaving the mainland.
View turtles, fish, dolphins from the beach. Try crabbing (bring pots) prawning in season (bring a net) bring chainsaw for cutting wood for the BBQ

The destination is a back to nature destination. Locality almost to yourself
You will need to bring plenty of supplies for your stay. The nearest shop selling basic supplies and fuel would be the Dingo Beach pub approx 6km away.

Guests can fly into the Whitsunday Coast airport. Transport, supplies, and linen can be arranged with owners. Costs available upon requests.
