"The veiw from the cottages was amazing, the accomadation was very comfortable and in a natural setting, the location was perfect to visit Freycinet national park and Douglas Aspey national park, and there was Bicheno beach easily reached.Owners were were welcoming upon arrival and friendly, they were available if we needed something, yet we felt we had privacy. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle of the holiday makers but within easy reach of restaurants, shops, banks etc."

"Beautiful view and very quite. Wouldn't quite add "deluxe" to the description, however adequate in terms of cooking facilities and appointments such as linen etc."

"Whale Watchers' cabins are first-class. In terms of quality and value the cabin was the best accommodation we had in Tasmania. The view and surroundings were also fabulous. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would have liked it to have been longer. Highly recommended!"

"Great accommodation, comfortable, clean with everything provided. Wonderful to find breakfast rations in the fridge.
Bicheno is a great spot to explore the East Coast and this self contained cabin makes a wonderful place to start from. The view & sunsets are absolutely incredible...
We should have had more time, but we will be back for sure.
Thank you to Annie for making our stay so memorable."

"This place is 4kms outsdie Bicheno and to get to the cabins, you go up a very steep loose gravel track in 1st gear (could be difficult in the rain). The whole area of the hotel is made up of the main house, 2 cabins and a tiny area to turn your car round. The photo of the 2 cabins actually shows the entire hotel grounds!! Cabin was new, clean and well-equipped but our breakfast was out of date.. coffee 5 months past its use-by date, corn flakes 1 month past and the fresh bread had already been removed as it was out of date. And the owner`s son`s reaction was literally " don`t worry about it, I don`t think anything will happen to you for eating them". Nice !!"

"Superb top quality cabin accomodation with spa bath, washing machine and everything else you might require. Stunning, magnificent views in a beautiful, perfectly peaceful setting.Best value stay on East Coast, if not in whole of Tasmania. Bicheno,a lovely town is so close to Coles Bay,Freycinet National Park & many other attractions. Or sit on the deck, relax and don't go anywhere else. 3 nights was not enough. We did not want to leave."

"The retreat is in a great location, quiet, good view, not too close to Bicheno, but also not too far way.
The owners are friendly, helpful and interested in making your stay pleasant without being a bother.
