Bowerbank Mill maintains its impressive architecture — thick stone walls, pit-sawn beams, and log fire in the six-storey chimney — all create an imposing and charming appearance.

The area around Bowerbank Mill B&B has much to offer. Some of the attractions include the following.
The historic town of Deloraine has much to offer; from the spectacular views of the Great Western Tiers Mountain range to the wonderful four panelled silk artwork, YARNS, or a relaxing riverside walk along the Meander River. With luck you may even spot a resident platypus swimming in the River on its search for food.

Trowunna Wildlife Park near Mole Creek offers a great opportunity to get up close to some of Tasmania’s wildlife in a natural bushland setting. You can hand feed kangaroos and wallabies as you walk around or go on a guided tour to learn more about these amazing animals and to watch Tasmanian Devils being hand-fed.

Enjoy a guided tour of King Solomons Cave, in Karst National Park, and be amazed by the spectacular subterranean features to be found in these ancient limestone caves.

Within an easy drive of the MUST SEE Cradle Mountain, and it’s many ‘levels of difficulty’ hiking tracks, from the boardwalk around tranquil Dove Lake to a hike up Cradle Mountain, and the overwhelming beauty and splendour of the scenic grandeur.

And if you feel like hiking closer to Bowerbank Mill B&B then the Great Western Tiers offers many walks, some more challenging than others, but all with spectacular views.
