Cottage, Bed & Breakfast, Self-contained apartment

There are six fully self-contained, completely separate cottages which surround a communal BBQ area. Cottages are furnished with antiques and memorabilia which take you back in time. Full breakfast provisions replenished daily.

The Gingerbread Cottage (circa 1880)was originally a labourer's cottage and sleeps one couple in a charming old brass bed.

Th Old Bakehouse (c1850)served as the village bakery for more than one hundred years and comfortably sleeps five people in three bedrooms.

The Corner Cottage (c1860) has been carefully restored to combine old-world charm with modern conveniences (eg spa/bath). Has two bedrooms and sleeps four people.

The Servant's Quarters (c1850) has one queen bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom.

The Bungalow (c1920) has four bedrooms, sleeps seven, with lounge, kitchen/dining, bathroom, laundry, large grounds.

The Apple Tree Cottage (c1880) has two queen bedrooms, lounge/kitchen/dining, bathroom, laundry and rear verandah overlooking the apple trees.

The cottages are ideal for a group of up to 24 guests.

Please note children under 5 years not accommodated in some cottages.

Pets are not permitted on the property.

Locality

Westbury is centrally located - 25 minutes from Launceston and 40 minutes from Devonport and is at the foot of the Great Western Tiers tourist trail.

Just a stroll away is the White House Museum and Bakery, village green, shops, hotel, restaurants, steam engine and tractor displays as well as an intriguing maze. A central location to explore all the attractions of the north of the state.

Property

Beautiful gardens including topiary gingerbread men, birds and animals help provide a calm atmosphere, and the convenient and instant gas log fires complete the homely feeling.
