Charming 'one-only' self-contained 2 bedroom cottage, set amidst picture-book farmland at historic Weldborough, the epicentre of the Chinese Tin Trail.
Explore the Blue Tier forest tracks; enjoy a spectacular 30 min downhill drive through the Pyengana valley to safe beaches; call at the cheese factory and take a stroll through rainforest to the spectacular St Columba Falls; 10 minutes to Moorina golf course; fossick for gemstones; relax with a good book by a cosy log fire or just dream away the days!
St Columba Cottage offers comfortable lounge with TV/VCR/DVD player together with a selection of videos and books for relaxed holiday reading; modern well equipped kitchen; separate dining/games room; spacious master bedroom with queen size bed; brightly furnished second bedroom with 3 single beds, electric blankets on all beds; modern bathroom with walk-in shower and safe non-slip flooring; and great rural views in all directions. Friendly advice on local attractions available from your hosts at the other end of the village.

Outside is a large garden with plenty of room for active children and dogs.

Fresh home made bread and other breakfast ingredients supplied - includes milk, fruit juice, choice of cereals (special diets to be notified) including porridge oats; choice of spreads: butter/margarine, home made jams/ marmalade; honey/vegemite or peanut butter. On arrival, we welcome you with freshly baked scones for afternoon tea and throughout your stay we offer quality coffees, teas and goodies for you to snack on.

As dog owners, we appreciate that dogs are valued companions. Dogs have the run of the cottage but we anticipate that they will spend most time in the living room/kitchen area where the floor surface is tiled. The bedrooms floors have polished wooden boards with occasional rugs. Pets are OK to sleep in the bedrooms, but on their own rugs. We do not expect dogs to sleep on the beds. There is a good sized fenced secure garden attached to the front verandah. Dogs may alternatively be left tethered on the back porch where they can see the cows.
