"Waverley Estate is a beautiful place to stay that is great for families. We had a great time but have to be honest in saying that our treatment by management was VERY poor. We were given no instructions or information on the property before arriving and assumed someone would meet us to let us in and were left standing outside for over an hour waiting. We also had to go and buy our own toilet paper on the FIRST day as there was insufficient provided. Management were quite rude and arrogant on the phone and we think that they should look into friendlier customer service to their paying guests by providing either a friendly meeting upon arrival to explain everything or an information sheet upon booking explaining any requirements/expectations on guests.
This experience has put a big dampener on our holiday and all of our guests were astonished at our treatment and have vowed not to return, which is a shame as it is such a beautiful place."

"14 of us spent 3 days at Waverley for a spiritual retreat workshop 15th to 18th May. . Magic atmosphere, open fire in the main house made it cosy and the long table was great for meal and discussions. Everything provided and the service provided was fabulous. The resident ghosts shared our experience : right up our alley! The pool was pristine, and the night lights gave s soft yet easily seen path between the main house and surrounding cottages. "

"I'd like to thank Campbell and the crew who maintain 'Waverley Estate' for doing an excellent job in managing the estate, and for their very personble approach in all their dealings with us. The site was the perfect location for our wedding celebration, and many of our guests said how beautiful the Estate was. Its design and layout is ideal for bringing family and friends together, and the terraced area was perfect for my father to set up his catering kitchen (which turned out to be quite the communal hub) with spits, bbq's and curries on the go. The site is very children-friendly, which is important to us, and our youngest guests also thoroughly enjoyed themselves from the minute they arrived until they fell asleep. "Our families stay at Waverley was fantastic. We enjoyed the whole experience from the wonderful gardens to the excellent accommodation. It was great having separate family units which were very comfortable and appealing in their decor. Everything we hoped for was there. We enjoyed playing tennis and although a little too cold for swimming - some enjoyed dangling their feet over the side. Having a fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher was heaven. We all have dishwashers at home - so it was great not having to resort to handwashing. The little extras like magazines, children's toys and games plus a really good CD player/stero and TV was wonderful. We certainly think we had good value and felt at home in the surroundings. In all our dealings with management we found them to be friendly and very helpful. We will and have already recommended Waverley Estate to our friends and family. As a family we will certainly return to Waverley in the future."
