A stunning walk any time of the day from this property to the Byron Bay Lighthouse to enjoy the view and watch the whales (in season), see the dolphins or to enjoy a picnic at Little Wategos beach.

Wategos and Little Wategos are great for swimming and when the surf turns it on the rides are long and fast. Don'f miss Julian Rocks Marine Reserve - snorkelling or diving, learn to surf, kayak with the dolphins, indulge in luscious breakfasts at the beach cafes, restaurants, live music..... the list goes on.

What a great stay we had at Asmara, it had just been redone - new blinds and paint and luxurious bed linen. We enjoyed the boogie boards supplied for the guests to use (eventhoughit was winter). Sparkling clean inside. We will definately be back.

DIning out in Byron Bay is fantastic with so many restaurants to choose from. Coastal walks, searching for shells, paddling in the rockpools or enjoying the local attractions with tours this is a great place for the whole family to come for a holiday.
