Pitstop Lodge is a self-contained old Queensland home that has a comfortable,
homely atmosphere, at a reasonable price. Imagine yourself in an old country home with modern facilities.

We can accommodate up to 12 people at any time, which makes it ideal for groups as well as couples and singles.
Pitstop Lodge can be booked as a whole house, or as individual bookings.

Reps very welcome.
Internet access available.

We offer undercover parking for 4 vehicles, and plenty of off-street parking for others.

There is a great back yard for the kids
to play, while mum and dad relax on the large rear deck, enjoying a drink at sunset.

Tea and coffee is on hand all day, and cooked breakfast is supplied on request.

Continental breakfast is included in the tariff.

Gas heating in winter, and fans for summer.

Quiet central location, walking distance to the Warwick CBD, the RSL, clubs, pubs and restaurants.

Ideally situated to all local sporting venues, and 40 minutes drive to the wineries around Stanthorpe.

Locality

Pitstop Lodge is close to the Warwick CBD.
Warwick itself is in easy driving distance to the wineries in the Stanthorpe area. Allora, Leyburn, Clifton, Killarney and Maryvale are small towns that offer tourists a taste of all things country. The famous Leyburn Sprints are held every August.
Warwick is known as "The Horsepower Capital of Queensland".
There is always something on at Morgan Park, whether it be on 2 or 4 wheels, or 4 legs.
The Polocrosse World Cup took place here in April 2007, which attracted teams from all over the world. There are many equestrian events year round.
Warwick is famous for it's Rodeo, which is always the last full weekend on October. Book early for that one.

Almost every weekend there is some form of motorsport at the Morgan Park racing circuit or the drags.

Queen rooms for couples and beds in the dormitory for children. One bedroom also has a single bed. Pitstop Lodge is an old Queensland home, and has a homely atmosphere, with a large deck at the rear of the house overlooking the backyard.

There is not a particular gay event in our region, but there are many activities that can be enjoyed by all. Winery visits, horse racing, polocrosse, equestrian eventing, motor racing, "drag" racing, the annual Pentath-run, Jumpers and Jazz in July festival, "Mardi Gras" in October for the Rodeo weekend. The winter experience is appreciated by visitors from the coastal regions. Whatever the reason for the stay, privacy is assured.

Motor bike riders welcome, Motor bike parking available, Lockable parking facilities for motor bikes, Property is located on a sealed road.

We have many regular bike groups stay over. Whether it be for a ride in the country, or competitors and spectators for motor cycle racing at Morgan Park. The back deck is a great place to get together at the end of the day.

Winter Holiday

Warwick is located close to Stanthorpe's wineries, and the whole region is promoted as a winter destination. We do have a gas log fire, to help with the atmosphere. The old-fashioned hot water bottle is used to heat the beds, just like at grandma's house.
