Enjoy Quamby's magic! Historic homestead, range of character-filled accommodation, delicious meals, delightful gardens. Relax, play croquet or petanque, enjoy the bird-life in a setting away from it all but only 30kms to Warrnambool or Port Fairy.
Great Ocean RoadIdeally located between the Great Ocean Road at Warrnambool and the Grampians, a great stopover between Melbourne and Adelaide. Close to the volcanic crater at Tower Hill with its abundant bird-life, koala, kangaroo and emus. Quamby HomesteadQuamby was settled in the 1850s and the homestead built by the Lindsay family in 1888. The original School House and Carriage House and Mews Rooms built on the old servants' quarters site now provide accommodation. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are taken in the homestead's formal dining room with log fires in Winter, or on the sunny enclosed verandah in Summer. A total experience.
