"We booked Walton House because of the reviews on this site and we weren't disappointed. We arrived in wild weather conditions with rain and gale force winds and were immediately made to feel welcome by Mark and a real fire. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and was very tastefully decorated. Nice touches all over the place and the hosts do evertyhing to ensure a pleasant stay. We had to leave for Hobart airport at 5am and missed breakfast but Mark kindly provided a continental breakfast in our fridge the night before. Great place to stay and would recommended to anyone visiting Huonville."

"My husband and I travelled around Tasmania with another couple and Walton House was the best accommodation place that we stayed at during that time. The rooms were spotless, fresh, large and serviced everyday. We were made to feel very much at home even though we arrived at a time that was at variance to our stated arrival time.

Breakfast was beautiful, freshly cooked and done to perfection. The fruit salad was magnificient. We felt very comfortable using the dining room that was made available to us and we had access to a china, microwave, etc.

It was a wonderful place to stay, especially as we were travelling with other people and there was room to sit and chat. We were so glad that we had booked for three nights. Value for money was excellent and quality superb."
