Three cosy cottages welcome you with wide verandahs for the summer and a cosy fire for the winter. Situated on a private 12 acres near Erica and surrounded by state forest this is an ideal retreat for weekends or longer.
Explore the surrounding forest, walk the trails and view the wildlife or just sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Each cottage has a cosy lounge adjoining the fully equiped kitchen and welcoming beds with all linen (Queen size beds in each cottage).
We are only 15 minutes from Walhalla with its historical surroundings, the goldfields railway and gold mine tour you can easily fill a couple of days. Baw Baw national Parks many secrets are an easy drive (or ride) from Silvertop along with the Aberfeldy region to explore.
The snowfields at Mt St Gwinear and Mt Baw Baw are about 30 minutes away along scenic mountain drives.
EricaThe small timber town of Erica is an ideal stop on the way North to Walhalla and beyond. From here you have good access to Baw Baw National Park,the old gold mining areas of Coopers Creek,Happy go Lucky and Aberfeldy.
If you don't feel like cooking for yourself of a night there are meals available at the local Erica Hotel, the Rawson Convention Centre or the Stockyard Bar and Bistro.
On weekends ride the Walhalla Goldfields Railway from Thomson River into Walhalla and return. Wander the quiet streets of the old gold town of Walhalla,visit a gold mine or explore the many trails in the forest and view the wildlife. There are local 4WD tours and trail rides available.
It is only 30 mins to the carpark at Mt St Gwinear for winter cross country skiing or snowplay. For the more advenurous you can ski or snowshoe to Mt Baw Baw accross the plateu.The South Face Road also now gives you access to Mt BawBaw in about 40 minutes. PropertyOur 12 acre property is heavily wooded with Silvertop Ash and stringy bark trees and there is abundant birdlife along with visiting wildlife. Surrounded by State Forest there are a number of short walks you can take to explore the forest right from our backyard along firetrails and the old rail line from Erica to Walhalla.

We have three seperate cottages, a studio for that romantic weekend away with a comfy queen bed and lofted ceilings. The ensuite bath has a corner spa bath to relax in after your day exploring the forest or local attractions.
Our one bedroom cottage is slightly larger and also has a spa and a day bed for an extra person if required.
The family cottage has a quiet upstairs queen bed so you can escape from the kids while they have a bunkroom for two ( a cot is also available).
