"Probably the best aspect was the central location to the majority of the great places to visit on the island. The beach just over the hill, a very short walk, was absolutely beautiful, with few/no one on it! The location of the cottage was delightful and private, easy to get find.
The professional approach by the owners, however on a very personal, friendly basis.
The owners keep a log book that guests can fill about about where they went and what things they felt were good to see and what they would pass up the next time they visited, a very nice way to get other peoples opinions of the attractions and their value."

"We stayed at Green Gable for 5 nights this autumn and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach, and easy access to the south coast road which then provides convenient access to the sights of KI. The cottage itself is delightful, with all the comforts of home provided, and marsupial visitors at dusk. It feels like the cottage is really isolated because of the cosy environment that has been created. When we return to KI we'll stay at Green Gable. Perfect."

"Had a wonderful time. The cottage was perfect; private, 3 min walk to the beach and the best equipped I have ever stayed in. The location was centrally located, which was great for seeing everything on the island, esp Seal Rocks and out towards the Chase. Geoff and Cindy were wonderful host and left us fishing gear and treats on arrival. The nightly visits by wallabies and possums thrilled the kids. Vivonne Beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. Highly recommended!"

"Green Gable Cottage was much more than I expected. The accommodation was beautiful and quiet. The location on the island was ideal for day trips or a stroll to the beautiful beach. Though a number of houses were nearby, you still felt like you were the only ones around - wallabies come to visit, you can hear the sea (only two minutes away), birds come to frolick in the bird bath.
