Holiday house

Adjacent a reserve and with a large rear garden this lovely modern home is beautifully appointed throughout and ideal for 2 families. Downstairs comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 Queen and 1 with 2 bunks. Family room with TV, DVD, iPod dock, bathroom and toilet and laundry. Upstairs the open style living/dining room and main bedroom (queen) boasts views across a large balcony to Victor and beyond to The Bluff. TV,DVD, iPod dock, and newly renovated bathroom with toilet and modern kitchen. Rear balcony off the dinning room to catch the morning sun as well as "The Snug" - a beautiful large dining/lounge room with TV. Additional features include R/C split air conditioners to both floors, beautiful custom made furniture and an under cover outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and timber furniture. On arrival guests will be provided with a bottle of Champagne.

Locality

Victor Harbour on the southern coastline is a beautiful seaside holiday town with great whale-watching during the migration season. Encounter Coast Discovery Centre has information on the history of the region.

Granite Island is home to penguins, walking trails and shark aquarium. McLaren Vale Wineries are dotted throughout the central part offering superb local wine of international standard surrounded by old vineyards and cellar door secrets. Some wineries offer fine dining.

From the balcony of "Interlaken" you have beautiful views of the beach, Victor Harbor and Granite Island. The swimming beach is a lovely sandy beach with gentle waves and less than 5 minute walk.

The lounge downstairs is very child friendly, with room to play and a large TV with a DVD and ipod station. There are childrens books and some games and CD's and DVD's. There are also some large cushions to lounge on and large lounge suite.

Museums and Galleries

There is Victor Harbor Encounter Coast Discovery Centre which is a treasure house of artefacts, photos and compelling stories of the Indigenous people , whalers and traders of Victor Harbor to the beginning of the 20th Century. Goolwa has a Museum and History Centre which houses an extensive collection of artefacts relating to early Goolwa. Port Elliot Historic Centre and Railway Station has award-winning displays depicting Australia's first public railway.

Whale Watching

Fleurieu Peninsula is one of the state's most popular and accessible whale-watching regions. The Southern Right Whale are very slow moving and come very close to shore often within 30m and can stay in the same area for weeks. These giants first appear along the coastline during May, mate and calve in the warmer waters of the Fleurieu Peninsula. They leave about October. The Australian Whale Centre in Victor have more information.

High Demand Periods: $2310per week, $330 per night. (High Demand Periods include all South Australian & Victorian summer school holidays and all SA and VIC public holiday weekends).

Easter is $310 per night: minimum of 4 nights.

Mid Demand Periods: $2100 per week, $300 per night. Mid demand periods include all winter SA and Vic school holidays.

All other periods (excluding any public holidays) are base rates: $1890 per week, $270 per night.

Easter: minimum 4 night stay
Long Weekends: minimum 3 night stay
All other times: minimum 2 night stay

PLEASE NOTE a $500 refundable damage/ extra cleaning bond applies to all bookings and costs are subject to confirmation at the time of booking. Linen can be supplied at an extra cost depending on how many guests.
