Close Encounters has great elevated views over Encounter Bay, Granite Island and the rural countryside.

Enjoy the romantic lights of the township at night and the inspiring sunrise over the Bay in the mornings.
Our B & B is spacious and was purpose built to give you a quiet, intimate and private space to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.

Close Encounters is totally self contained and is completely separate from the main house. It is beautifully furnished,offering quality, comfort and style with many thoughtful extras. Enjoy the T.V., DVD and surround sound with extra speakers to help you relax in the 2 person oval therapy spa.

It has a complete kitchen with fridge,electric oven, gas hotplates, microwave etc.

Generous full cooked breakfast provisions(bacon, eggs, tomatoes,,fresh bread,Berenberg jams etc) provided daily as well as fresh fruit, biscuits, port and chocolates.

Experience the 4 poster Queen size bed with pillow top chiropratic mattress and electric blanket.

A separate bedroom has a single electric adjustable bed plus a futon couch which converts to a double bed.
This bedroom also has its own TV & DVD.
Reverse cycle airconditioning keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.

Undercover car parking is attached to the B & B and there is room to bring your boat ( 1.5km to ramp)

Discounts are available for bookings of 3 days or more.
