If you are looking for the perfect spot to have a break in the beautiful channel area Verona Sands is a good choice.
Our 3 Bed room brick holiday home has a Queen size bed in the main bed room and a set of bunks in the 2 remaining bedrooms. All bedrooms have quality carpet. It has a large open plan living area with kitchen [fan forced oven+ microwave], dining[dining table seats10] and lounge area[4 couches], opening through sliding doors to both the front and back outdoor areas. There are board games, card games,books for both chn. & adults. The outdoor areas are flat and fenced, suitable for childrens ball games & BBQs. The large shed houses a washing machine and dryer as well as outdoor chairs,hammock, outdoor table, gas BBQ and beach equipmen[kayaks,canoes,bodyboardsetc]. The second shed has ample wood for the large wood heater which heats the whole house. During the cooler seasons and evenings it is a warm,cosy, inviting environment with the gentle sound of the waves lapping at your door!
Verona sands is a good base to explore the Huon Valley and D'Entrecastraux channel areas, as well giving you the opportunity to take a ferry to Bruny Island.It has several areas nearby that offer excellent bush walking tracks; Hartz Mts.,Snug Falls, Pelverata Falls etc. There are several good dining experiences as you drive down the Channel or Huon as well as the opportunity to stop at Wineries or buy fruit from orchards when they are in season. These areas have many tourist attractions and festivals, details of which can be found in the brochures available at the house.
No matter whether you choose to remain at your beach-front retreat, go bush walking, or explore the local tourist attractions you will always be tempted back to this wonderful area.

It is a great place for a family holiday. My grandchildren and I meeting there annually and always feel relaxed and rejuvenated!!

What a great place to stay!! If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is where you will find it. A beautiful cottage which is wonderfully appointed. So close to beach and many walking areas. Would highly recommend for a lovely restful holiday.
