Holiday house, Resort, Lodge

Menengi lodge is an unhosted open plan mudbrick lodge with raked timber ceilings and sleeps 8 people.There is two bedrooms downstairs,bedroom1 has a queen size bed,bedroom2 has two single beds.Upstairs (the mezzanine) has a queen size bed, two single beds,a second lounge and foosball table.The lodge is air conditioned,with ceiling fans throughout and a slow combustion fireplace.Menengi Lodge has a well equipped kitchen and laundry with linen supplied.There is complimentary soap, shampoo,conditioner,tea and coffee.There are two toilets and a bathroom with a spa bath and wheelchair accessible shower.Menengi has a TV, DVD/CD player,stereo and various balls, bats, games,books and magazines. Outside is a gas BBQ and dining setting, also a campfire where you can toast marshmellows under the star in winter.
Guests have access to resort facilities which include a salt water pool,tennis court , table tennis, children's playground,fitness area, yabbie dam,4x4 wheel drive tracks, swimming lagoon and picnic areas.Bring your bicycle and cycle around the many tracks on the mountain.
Enjoy a meal at Treehops Restaurant which is only a 3 min drive from the lodge.Experience the abundance of wildlife from Kangaroos,wallabies,lizards beautiful native birds,possums and if your lucky maybe an echidna.
Choose your level of interaction with the surroundings from relaxing in front of the fire to an extended walk.
Menengi Lodge is a fantastic place to unwind and relax.

Shower has shower bars and a moveable shower head, Chairs are permitted in the shower, Door frames are wider to suit wheelchairs, Some stairs, described below, The toilet is fitted with railings/grip bars.

Menengi Lodge has a gravel carpark area with a verandah that you can drive onto.There is room to remove a wheelchair from the car and freely access the lodge.From under the verandah there may not be enough room to use a wheelchair lift from the car roof.The front door(double sliding doors) frame has been recessed into ground to avoid a lip.All doorways are 1000mm wide,except the bathroom which is 810mmm wide.Bedroom 1 has queensize bed with good access around bed.Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds which can be moved to allow adequate room for wheelchair.There is a mezzanine (upstairs which sleeps 4 that is not wheelchair accessable.

Menengi Lodge is situated on a wilderness resort.There are no pets, no guns ,no trail bikes allowed.Menengi Lodge was designed to be solar passive and made out of mud bricks.There is an abundance of wildlife around,from Kangaroos to echidnas(if your lucky).
