Budget Rural experience for the families; play with the friendly dog, big fat pig famous from Doc. Harry's Pet show, gather the eggs, view the Alphaca & ponies.sheep, ...explore the creek, play on the swings, climb the tree house, play in the games room while Mum & Dad relax around the pool or in the cosy Guest lounge reading a book from our vast selection in our library while relaxing in front of the log fire in winter.
Rural experience for couples, groups & families. Friendly hosts, Penelope,& Michael make you feel welcome in the beautiful Guest Lounge & Dining Room...Log fires, Library, beautiful views, clean salt water pool & toys...go for a walk, watch the abundant bird life...relax & re create after a busy life style.

We had a wonderful time. The children didn't want to leave and tried to smuggle their two special chooks into the car when we were leaving. Ken & Kate & 3 kids. Sydney

We all enjoyed the Easter egg hunt plus the bon fire the night before. The children enjoyed the 'sparklers' Penelope gave to them that night. We all had a great time and will certainly come back soon. Pat & Nev, Sam & Bob plus two children

Property

Our property is situated at the base of the Great Dividing Range between Willow Tree & Merriwa- it is certainly a "Hidden Valley" surrounded by huge gum trees & pockets of rainforest, where abundant bird life & native animals can been seen. The property is bordering Coulsens Creek- a great place to explore & play for the children or to sit beside, relaxing and listening to the stream bubble along! Very peaceful. The Cosy Guest lounge and dining room is a lovely place to unwind in front of the log fire in winter. Hidden Valley Homestead is the place to play as a family or relax as a couple. Groups enjoy Hidden Valley especially if they enjoy bush walks, bird watching or just being together as a group for meetings etc.....come and have a break with us Penelope & Michael look forward to welcoming you.

It has been said that very special childhood memories are created at Hidden Valley as the children have the opportunity to really play in a 'old fashioned' manner - using their imaginations,playing games that they would not normally do, in the healthy,fresh open valley environment. Imagine the joy you will have when you see your child play & pet with a friendly sheep or calf. Fear of animals are released as Elsie the dog rolls over for a pet with your child! Imagine the satisfaction you will have to have the time (at last after such a busy lifestyle)to sit in the evening and play a board game with your child allowing him or her to win! You and your child are very special at Hidden Valley and we go the "extra mile" to make you feel special, for you to relax and have fun as a family! Mum and Dad have quiet time also while the children play, climbing the tree house or playing in the sand pit, we ensure that you all go away feeling rested & envigorated with plenty of holiday memories after your stay at Hidden Valley.

Pet friendly

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Food and water bowls provided, Bedding/sleeping area provided, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

Horses & dogs of all sizes and types are welcome at Hidden Valley- however you do take full responsibilty of your pet. Fenced paddocks, plenty of water and feed are available for horses. Clean kennels and bedding are avaialble for dogs and these can be set up outside your room. We suggest bringing leads for securing the dogs to their own kennel at night. Water is supplied and we suggest you bring your own food however this can be purchased for you at an extra cost.
